Corsair has announced a partnership with Yeston, a Chinese graphics card maker famous for their unique “waifu” designs³. This is a big deal in the tech business. It’s because of this relationship that Corsair has released a limited version of its Vengeance DDR5 memory that looks like a cherry flower.
After the launch of the ASUS ROG Strix model³, the new memory series has a style that looks like it came from an anime. The memory modules were posted on Corsair China’s social media site, Weibo. They showed white memory sticks with Sakura flowers on them and anime-style figures wearing wedding dresses³².
The Sakura-themed Vengeance DDR5 memory has different designs on each side. One side has chibi styles, and the other has more traditional Japanese animation²². For now, it looks like this start is only for the Chinese market. Hopefully, this can lead to more ambitious RAM designs in the future everywhere.
There is regular Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory inside. They can work with AMD Ryzen 7000 series “Zen 4” processors or Intel 12th Gen, 13th Gen, and 14th Gen CPUs if you have the right hardware that supports DDR5 memory². There will be speeds of between DDR5-6400 and DDR5-7200 for Corsair’s new Vengeance DDR5 Sakura-themed RAM. It has an RGB strip at the top and supports ARGB lighting control options².
The fact that Corsair and Yeston are working together is a big step toward recognizing and celebrating anime culture in the tech business. It also shows how more and more PC parts are starting to look like they were inspired by cartoons and Sakura.
AI is the power of the future, and we can see it in Corsair’s Sakura-themed Vengeance DDR5 memory, which isn’t out yet but will be soon.
